Artist Statement 'How we judge people visually, although dictated to some degree by our preconceptions and over generalization, is also dependent upon our personal experiences because of the subjects likeness to an already familiar person or the conveyance of emotion through posture or expression as well as an individuals attire and surroundings. Within my work I hope to embrace all of these elements to convey as much as possible of the sitter and the intended aspects of the work, without constraining myself with medium, technique or any aspect of the creative process.'
